Author Guidelines
There are several things a writer can do to help facilitate a smoother workflow in the publishing process. In preparing the script, please follow the provided template.
Written Manuscript (General Provisions)
Word Count: The article should contain 4000-10000 words (including abstracts and references) and is written using Cambria font with systematic and font size instructions described per section of the manuscript below.
Plagiarism (Similarity check): Indonesian Journal of Criminal Law and Criminology sets a maximum similarity limit of 25%.
Page Numbering: Abbreviated words or phrases must be written in full the first time they appear in the text, with each abbreviated form in brackets.
The following is an explanation of each section in the manuscript:
Title
It is written short, informative, and descriptive in Indonesian (maximum 14 words) or English (maximum 12 words). The title is align left with Cambria, size 14 (Bold), 1pt spacing.
Author's Name, Affiliation and Correspondence
Author's name is the full name without abbreviations and does not use a title, written in Cambria font, size 10pt, in bold print.
Affiliations are written in Cambria font, size 10pt, completed in the following order.
a. Study Program, Faculty, University, Country (for Higher Education Institutions)
b. Work unit, Ministry/Agency, State (for Government Institutions or agencies)
Correspondence is in the form of address, email, written in Cambria font, size 10pt.
Abstract
The abstract is written in English and or Indonesian. This abstract should provide a brief introduction to the problem, and the purpose of the paper, followed by a brief and concise statement of the methodology and a summary of the results. No more than 250 words, written in Cambria, size 10pt (Italic/italics), single-spaced.
Keywords
Keywords are written immediately after the abstract on a new line, a minimum of 3 (three) words and a maximum of 5 (five) words relevant to the substance of the article, written in Cambria font, size 9pt, italicized.
I. Introduction
The introduction should be clear and indicate the problem to be discussed in the manuscript. The author must provide an adequate background and a brief literature survey to present the available solutions, indicate which is the best from previous research, indicate the main limitations of previous research, and indicate what is expected in solving the problem and demonstrating scientific merit or novelty of this paper. At the end of the paragraph, the author should end with a comment about the importance of problem identification and research objectives. Written in Cambria font, size 10pt, single-spaced.
II. Method
It must be detailed and clear, covering materials, sampling methods, implementation, and data analysis. Written in Cambria font, size 10pt, single-spaced.
III. Results and Discussions
This section contains an analysis, comparison of research results with relevant literature and explains the implications of the research results obtained for science/its use. The analysis and research results must be clear and concise. The results should summarize (scientific) findings rather than provide data in great detail. In the discussion, tables and/or figures can be displayed to explain a situation. Emphasize differences between results or findings with previous publications by other researchers. Written in Cambria font, size 10pt, spacing 1pt.
IV. Conclusions
Conclusions are presented in a concise, clear and relevant manner. It is written in Cambria 10pt, single-spaced.
Terms of Tables, Figures, and References
Table: The table is displayed using an open model style (without vertical lines) with a font size of 10 and 1pt spacing. Each table is given a serial number (Table 1., Table 2., etc.) which is placed above the middle table, while the table data sources are written at the left bottom of the table.

References
References at the end of the manuscript use the fromat of APA (American Psychological Association) style, but citing is according to the sources listed with footnotes. Please use Reference Manager Applications such as EndNote, Mendeley, Zotero, etc. All publications cited in the text must be included in the Bibliography, written in Cambria 10pt, single-spaced.
Notation
- The notation uses “footnote.”
