Faktor-faktor yang Mempengaruhi Pencapaian Peran sebagai Ibu pada Perempuan dengan HIV/AIDS di Yogyakarta

Menjadi seorang ibu merupakan suatu perubahan pada perempuan baik perubahan status maupun peran. Adanya infeksi HIV dapat membuat kesulitan dalam perannya sebagai seorang ibu. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi pencapaian peran sebagai seorang ibu pada perempuan dengan HIV adalah perempuan dengan HIV/AIDS mengalami berbagai permasalahan baik masalah fisik, psikososial, emosional maupun spiritual. Karena permasalahan tersebut, akibatnya perempuan dengan HIV tidak mendapatkan dukungan sosial yang diperlukan dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pencapaian peran sebagai ibu (maternal role attainment) pada perempuan dengan HIV/AIDS di Yogyakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam pada 5 perempuan dengan HIV/AIDS di LSM Victory Plus Yogyakarta. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Triangulasi dilakukan kepada perawat dan suami partisipan. Pada penelitian ini, didapatkan 5 tema yaitu komitmen ibu terhadap anak, dukungan suami, dukungan keluarga, dukungan masyarakat, mekanisme koping adekuat, informasi yang diberikan petugas kesehatan saat memeriksakan kehamilan dan diskriminasi petugas kesehatan. Disimpulkan bahwa faktor yang mendukung pencapaian peran ibu pada perempuan dengan HIV/AIDS meliputi komitmen ibu terhadap anak, dukungan suami, keluarga dan masyarakat, mekanisme koping adekuat serta informasi yang diberikan petugas kesehatan saat memeriksakan kehamilan. Faktor yang menghambat pencapaian peran ibu pada perempuan dengan HIV/AIDS meliputi diskriminasi petugas kesehatan.
Being a mother is a woman of change in both the status or role. HIV infection can makes it difficult for her role as a mother. One of factors that affect achievement role being a mother women with HIV is they have experience various problems both physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual. As a result, women with HIV are not getting the necessary social support in their role as mothers. This study to explore factors that affect maternal role attainment in women with HIV/AIDS in Yogyakarta. It was qualitative research with phenomenology design. Data was collected with in-depth interview on 5 women with HIV/AIDS in LSM Victory Plus Yogyakarta. Sample was taken using purposive sampling technique. Triangulation is done with the nurse and husband one of a participants. In this study, obtained five themes, namely commitment mother against child, husband support, family support, community support, adequat coping mechanisms, information provided health worker during antenatal and discrimination of health workers. It can be concluded that factors that support mother in women with HIV/AIDs includes the commitment of the mother to the child, the support of her husband, family and community, adequat coping mechanisms, information from health workers during pregnancy. Factors that inhibited mother in women with HIV/AIDs includes discrimination from health workers.
