Improving the Leadership Capacity of the Youth Activists of H.J. Agter Korido Church, Supiori Regency, through the Basic Leadership Training

Youth leadership is a key factor in realizing Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045, both in the context of the church and society. This community service program was conducted through Basic Leadership Training for the youth of GKI H.J. Agter Korido Church, Supiori Regency. The objectives were to enhance understanding of leadership concepts, communication skills, teamwork, and service motivation. The implementation applied a participatory approach through interactive lectures, group discussions, decision-making simulations, and outbound training. A total of 40 youth participants were selected based on recommendations from the church assembly. Pre-test and post-test evaluations indicated a 70% increase in leadership knowledge, improved self-efficacy, and positive changes in communication confidence, solidarity, and responsibility. Participant reflections also confirmed that the training helped them become more confident in leading church ministries and social activities. The implication of this program is the emergence of young church members with integrity, solidarity, and readiness to lead in various fields. Therefore, Basic Leadership Training has been proven to be relevant and strategic in shaping the golden generation of future leaders in Supiori Regency
