Abstract


Islamic banking development in Indonesia is a part of Islamic banking international development and of dynamic thought and effort of economist individually or institutionally.

Changes in UU No 8 tahun 1998 about Islamic banking is one of Bank Indonesia’s commitment as task that have been done. Because of the change, law enforcement of Islamic banking will be clear and strong in institutional side and operational side.

Development of Islamic banking forward have to be enforced by knowledge of actual condition and important issues that faced by Islamic banking, because completed regulations and infrastructures are the basic problems that have to solved in short run.
