- IJNP has been published semi-annual (June and December) since 2014.
- By 2014, This journal before named Muhammadiyah Journal of Nursing with ISSN print 2356-1114.
- Then, since 2016, this journal changed to IJNP (Indonesian Journal of Nursing Practices) with ISSN online 2548-592X and ISSN print 2548-4249.
- By August 2019, IJNP had been indexed by Directory Open Access Journal (DOAJ).
- By September 2019, IJNP had been indexed by Science and Technology Index (Sinta) and obtained accreditation predicate in grade 3 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia.
- By May 2020, IJNP updated Focus and Scope especially type of article: synthesized review paper.
- By June 2020, IJNP changes Author Fee from IDR 0 to IDR 750.000 for operational process.
- By May 2021, IJNP adds Withdrawal and Retraction Policy.
- By December 2022, IJNP had been indexed by Science and Technology Index (Sinta) and obtained accreditation predicate in grade 2 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia
