Penggunaan Inti Resin Komposit Pasak Tapered Serrated sebagai Bangunan Retensi Mahkota Penuh Porselin Fusi Metal pada Premolar Satu Kiri Maksila

Abstract


The purpose of this case report is to inform the benefit and method of using tapered serrated post composite resin core as retention of a porcelain fused to metal crown of the upper left first premolar. A thirty one year old female patient visited to Dental Conservation Clinic, Faculty of Dentistry of Gadjah Mada University to seek a restoration of her post root canal treatment with destruction coronal structure. Radiographic showed hermetic obturation of the two straight root canal of the upper left first premolar. Retention using tapered serrated post applied on both root canal followed by composite resin core during the first visit. Whereas fitting and cementation of porcelain fused to metal crown were done during her second visit. On the next visit to the Clinic, tooth evaluation showed no premature contact,no traumatic condition, no gingival ischemia, negative on percussion and conformity of the tooth color with other teeth.

Tujuan laporan kasus ini adalah untuk menginformasikan manfaat dan cara-cara penggunaan inti resin komposit pasak tapered serrated sebagai bangunan retensi mahkota penuh porselin fusi metal pada premolar satu kiri maksila. Pasien wanita 31 tahun, datang ke Klinik Konservasi Gigi FKG UGM, ingin memperbaiki gigi premolar pasca perawatan saluran akar yang sebagian besar struktur mahkotanya telah rusak. Radiograf premolar satu kiri maksila terlihat pengisian saluran akar hermetis, terdapat 2 saluran akar yang lurus. Kunjungan pertama dilakukan preparasi saluran pasak, pembuatan inti resin komposit dan pencetakan inti. Pada kunjungan ke dua dilakukan pengepasan dan sementasi mahkota penuh porselin fusi metal. Pada kunjungan ke tiga (kontrol), tidak ada kontak prematur, tidak ada kondisi traumatik, tidak tampak adanya iskemia gingiva, perkusi negatif, warna gigi serasi dengan warna gigi sebelahnya.
