Pengaruh Bahan Dielektrik Padat Terhadap Perubahan Medan Listrik Sistem Tegangan Tinggi (HVDC)

Gas sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) banyak diterapkan pada komponen sistem tenaga listrik bertegangan tinggi karena keunggulannya dalam redaman percikan api, transfer panas dan tahanan dielektrik yang kuat. Di lain sisi gas tersebut menimbulkan potensi pemanasan global yang sangat besar. Oleh karena itu gas altenatif ramah lingkungan dan langkah fundamental diperlukan untuk memahmi secara mendalam desain gas alternatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendesain pemodelan insulasi hybrid (padat dan gas) ramah lingkungan dengan menggunakan model numerik finite element method (FEM) dari software Comsol® Multiphysics. Hasil pomedalan ini bisa dimanfaatkan untuk mengetahui karakteristik bahan insulasi alternatif tegangan tinggi. Dengan menggunakan persamaan elektrostatis, nilai tegangan dan relative permittivity divariasikan untuk mengetahui perubahan medan listrik dan garis-garis medan listrik (fluks). Pemodelan ini memperlihatkan bahwa semakin besar nilai relative permittivity, maka nilai medan listrik pada 3 batas penghujung jarum (gas/padat/logam) akan meningkat. Selain itu jika nilai permitivitas relatif meningkat, garis medan listrik (fluks) akan terkonsentrasi di sekitar tepi bahan dielektrik padat.
