Journal History

  1. Jurnal Ekonomi & Studi Pembangunan (JESP) was established in January 2000.
  2. JESP has published both printed (book) and electronic (PDF) versions. ISSN 2541-5506 (Online) and 1411-9900 (Print).
  3. Since January 2017, JESP is managed by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in collaboration with the Association of Economics Department of Muhammadiyah Higher Education (APSEP PTM).
  4. By 4 April 2019, JESP had been indexed by Science and Technology Index (Sinta) and obtained accreditation predicate in grade 2 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia, Decree (SK) No. 10/E/KPT/2019 valid from vol 18 no 1 (2017) until vol 22 no 2  2021. 
  5. By 29 September 2020, JESP had been indexed by Directory Open Access Journal (DOAJ).
  6. Since Volume 22 Number 2, October 2021: Jurnal Ekonomi & Studi Pembangunan grants the author copyright to the content and the first publication copyright is granted to the journal.
  7. By 9 December 2021, JESP had been indexed by Science and Technology Index (Sinta) and obtained accreditation predicate in grade 2 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Indonesia, Decree (SK) No. 158/E/KPT/2021 valid from Vol 21 No 2 (2020) until Vol 26 No 1 (2025).
