Focus and Scope
Jurnal Hubungan Internasional (JHI) is dedicated to exploring Indonesia and its role in global politics. The journal aims to provide in-depth analysis not only of political and economic issues but also of their intersections with contemporary development and societal challenges. JHI's primary mission is twofold: to furnish readers with extensive knowledge of Indonesia's global interactions and to examine these engagements through both theoretical and practical lenses. Regardless of topic or methodology, the central focus must always be Indonesia. The journal concentrates on three key themes: the dynamics of Indonesia's relationships with major partner countries, the country's significance in regional and global politics, and the broader theoretical discussions in international relations that influence Indonesian domestic politics. By addressing these focal points, JHI serves as a premier source of scholarship, essential for those seeking to understand and teach the complexities of Indonesia's international engagements.
