Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas masalah kalâm, kalimah, tarkîb, dan jumlah menurut tata bahasa Arab, diawali dengan pengertian jumlah, perbedaan pendapat para ulama dan ahli tata bahasa Arab, dan bagaimana korelasi antara kalâm dan jumlah. Tulisan ini juga memuat bagian-bagian jumlah dalam bahasa Arab dan menggambarkan tentang bagaimana pandangan ulama terdahulu mengenai susunan dalam kaidah tata bahasa Arab disertai dengan syâhid berupa ayat-ayat Al-Quran.
