Abstract

Pengajaran bahasa Arab di Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram memiliki beberapa masalah diantaranya adalah kurangnya kejelasan tujuan pengajaran, buku materi tidak sesuai dengan tujuan pengajaran, dan kelemahan keterampilan menulis siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan mengembangkan materi dengan perspektif berpikir kreatif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa, menguji efektivitas penggunaan bahan ajar untuk siswa, dan menggunakan aspek yang berpengaruh untuk efektivitas ta'bir materi tahriri melalui pemikiran kreatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data statistik deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif. Hasil pengujian dianalisis menggunakan T-test. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) pengembangan materi melalui pemikiran kreatif terdiri dari tujuan pengajaran, strategi pengajaran, materi, dan latihan; (2) hasil T-test menunjukkan bahwa materi yang dikembangkan efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa; (3) bahan ajar melalui aspek kelancaran, fleksibilitas, keaslian, dan elaborasi dalam creative thinking atau divergent thinking dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Temuan substantif dari penelitian ini adalah ta'bir tahriri dan materi melalui pemikiran kreatif dianggap efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa. Adapun temuan formal dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa tema kreatif dapat membangun skema siswa dalam mengajar menulis.
