Ameloblastoma adalah suatu tumor epitelial odontogenik yang berasal dari jaringan pembentuk gigi yaitu jaringan pembentuk email yang tidak mengalami diferensiasi pada saat proses pembentukan gigi. Beberapa karakter yang sering dijumpai adalah bersifat jinak, tumbuh lambat, penyebarannya lokal invasif dan destruktif serta mengadakan proliferasi kedalam stroma jaringan ikat. Tumor ini mempunyai kecenderungan untuk kambuh apabila tindakan operasi tidak memadai. Studi pustaka kali ini akan dibahas mengenai penatalaksanaan ameloblastoma multikistik dan unikistik untuk mendapatkan penatalaksanaan kasus yang memadai dan hasil perawatan yang optimal.References
