Problematika Pembelajaran Qiro’ah untuk Kelas VIII di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Darussalam Aur Duri Sumani Solok

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan yang dihadapi peserta didik di Madrasah Tsanawiyyah dalam membaca bahasa Arab, tujuan didasarkan pada hasil observasi awal yang menunjukkan lemahnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam membaca bahasa Arab. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan ialah kualitatif, informan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Arab, dan untuk informan tambahan kepala madrasah dan beberapa peserta didik yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Untuk mendapatkan data dari sumber yang ditentukan dalam penelitian ini digunakan observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi, semua data dianalisis dengan pendekatan interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa kesulitan mempelajari materi qiro’ah yang dihadapi peserta didik ialah mulai dari aspek makharij al-huruf, shifat al-huruf, tajwid, dan gramatika, data menunjukkan secara umum peserta didik tidak memiliki ilmu dasar yakni gramatika bahasa Arab, sementara pada aspek makharij al-huruf, shifat al-huruf dan tajwid banyak di antara peserta didik yang telah memiliki kemampuan yang baik. Hasil penelitian merekomendasikan agar pembelajaran makharij al-huruf, shifat al-huruf dan tajwid dilakukan secara intensif di luar jadwal formal. Di samping itu, penguatan gramatika dalam bentuk aplikasinya menjadi semakin penting, untuk itu sinkronisasi materi pada kurikulum pesantren dengan materi bahasa Arab sebagai kurikulum Kemenag dapat menjadi alternatif.
