Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).

  • The submission file is in Microsoft Word, and RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

     

Author Guidelines

JBTI : Jurnal Bisnis : Teori dan Implementasi is a continuous scientific journal. The main purpose of this journal is to disseminate scientific articles in the field of business, which have a theoretical and implementation foundation. In this regard, the related article must be related to the science of business management and financial accounting related to business practices. The editor accepts scientific articles that have not been published that presents fully in English.

The article that submitted to JBTI : Jurnal Bisnis : Teori dan Implementasi should be original work, i.e. the same article must have not been published or accepted for publication in any other journals/ books either in full or substantial part; and must not be submitted to any other journal forconcurrent publication or being considered for publication or even being reviewed.

1. General Guidelines

All manuscripts can be submitted to JBTI Editorial Office by Online Submission (link at the top of this page), where author register as Author.  

2. Manucript template

Manuscript should be prepared according to the following author guidelines in the MS Word manuscript template. The manuscript template can be downloaded at the following link: JBTI MANUSCRIPT TEMPLATE.

3. Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Stucture of the Manuscript:

  1. Title. The title of the article should be concise, interesting and describe the content of the article, maximum of fifteen words, Times New Roman 16pt, Bold, and Justify.
  2. Author (s) and Affiliation. The author’s name should be included by affiliation (write completely) and email address, without the academic title.
  3. Abstract. Abstract is written in English with a single space. Abstract includes a description of the 1-2 sentences of introduction, research objective, method, analytical tools, results and implication. The abstract should be written briefly, concise and in one paragraph (maximum of 200 words). Abstract should include the keywords that contain ideas or basic concepts that represent the fields of the study.
  4. Introduction. This section consists of (i) nature and scope of the problem in a broader (national, regional, international) context, (ii) significance/novelty/contribution of this research on knowledge, (iv) aims of this research.
  5. Literature Review. The theory study describes the theories used to support the research, to formulate hypotheses and research models.
  6. Research Method. This section contains at least the design of the study, subject/object/sample, the operational definition and measurement of variables, techniques/instruments of data collection, data analysis and hypothesis testing.
  7. Results and Discussion. he beginning of this section presents the characteristics data of the reseacrh subject/object/samples/respondent, data analysis, and hypothesis testing instruments (if any). Data suggested to be presented in the Table or Figure and ensure to refer to the narration. The author should answer the research questions clearly and provide findings interpretation. For the rest of this section, the author must discuss the research findings with the previous relevant literature. The discussion showed to the reader the relationship among the results and put these results in previous research. Discussion should be relevant to the results, address logical explanations of the research findings, and be supported with relevant literature. The discussion should explain how the results agree or disagree with the previous study and why. It was strongly suggested to describe the advantage (novelty) of your research findings compared to other research mentioned in the introduction.
  8. Conclusion. The conclusion summarizes the principal findings. This conclusion is written briefly. Conclusion related to the introduction and aims or hypothesis but did not repeat the discussion. Conclusion written critically, logically, and honestly based on the existing fact, and full of cautions if there was a generalization. This section also presents the implications, limitations and research suggestions sequentially.
  9. Acknowledment (if any). This section is written if desirable. Loading gratitude and appreciation to those who significantly contribute in the completion of the study.
  10. References. The reference contains the list of journals, books, or other publications referred to in this manuscript. Each reference cited in the text must be listed in REFERENCES and vice versa. References of the manuscript must be traceable, no less than 30 and consist of 80% of primary sources, and not exceed 10 years (80%). The JBTI: Jurnal Bisnis: Teori dan Implementasi follows the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition. The reference writing was strongly suggested using Mendeley References Manager, as well as writing source of references.

Manuscript Writing Format

  1. The manuscript is written in A4 paper size, one column, and 1.5 spacing format. The new paragraph begins with 1 cm from the left side and uses Time New Roman font 12.
  2. The manuscript is written fully in English.
  3. The margin on the upper, bottom and right sides are 2,54 cm, and the left sides is 3 cm.
  4. The title is written Capital Each Word (except preposition) using font size 16pt. The subtitle is written uppercase and uses font size 12 if there is a sub-subtitle, written capital each word except conjunction. Write capital for each word and italic model if there is a sub of sub-subtitle. Subtitle, sub-subtitle, and sub of the sub-subtitle are written on the left side.
  5. The citation is written by the American Psychological Association 7th Edition. Here are samples of citation: (Wong, Sharifuddin, Teng, Li, & Song, 2020); (Triyono, Kamardiani, & Prasetio, 2021); (Debertin, 2004); (Statistics Indonesia, 2020).
  6. The figure or table is made as close as possible to the explanation and put the number sequentially based on the site in the explanation. The source of data is better to be included.
  7. Tables consist of title and content. The line of the table just on the top and the bottom to separate between the title and the content of the table.
  8. JBTI bibliography writing is following the American Psychological Association 7th EditionBibliography writing (and citations) are recommended to use Mendeley application.
