Berdasarkan SK Kemdikbudristek No: 5162/E4/AK.04/2021 tentang Pemberitahuan Hasil Akreditasi Jurnal Ilmiah Periode I Tahun 2021, Journal of Japanese Language Education and Linguistics berhasil naik peringkat dari peringkat Sinta 4 menjadi Sinta 3 mulai dari Volume 5 Nomor 2 Tahun 2021 sampai dengan Volume 10 Nomor 1 Tahun 2026.
