Does Innovative Work Behavior Matter for Performance? Green Talent Management and Green Servant Leadership in Healthcare Industry
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the importance of green talent management on innovative work behavior and its impact on job performance, and the role of green servants in the context of employees in health industry in the city of Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach with causal explanatory to test the hypotheses proposed. The respondents of this study are employees who worked in private hospitals in Bandung, Indonesia, with 190 sample size consisted selected using purposive sampling techniques. The data is collected and then processed using a structural equation modeling with the help of Smart PLS software. The results show that green talent management and green servant leadership influence employee innovative work behavior, which leads to job performance. Apart from that, green servant leadership can also strengthen the influence of green talent management on innovative work behavior. This study contributes to the understanding of the concept of environmentally friendly business through innovative work behavior so it can improve work performance by adopting green practices, thereby reducing the damage caused by the organization. Apart from that, organizations must also consider that environmentally friendly business practices must be a concern and have a strong sensitivity that must be instilled.
