The International Journal of Islamic Educational Psychology (IJIEP) is an open-access journal that publishes research and scholarly reports in the field of Islamic educational psychology. Our aim is to provide knowledge that can be applied in various educational contexts, both formal and informal, involving different levels of education, individuals, and groups of all ages. IJIEP is published by Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta in collaboration with the Islamic Educational Psychology Scholars Association (IEPSA).
IJIEP aims to facilitate the dissemination of scholarly publications that contribute to the existing body of knowledge and stimulate further research in the field of Islamic educational psychology. Islamic Educational Psychology is a discipline that integrates psychology and education with an Islamic perspective and values. It is a unique field of study that links psychological knowledge and Islamic principles to improve the quality of education and learning based on Islamic religious values. The journal welcomes original articles that utilize quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-method methodologies. Currently, IJIEP publishes two issues per year in June and December, and all articles are in English.
IJIEP follows a rigorous and double-blind anonymous peer review process. The journal offers open access to its content and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC-BY-SA) as the optimal license for the publication, distribution, use, and reuse of scholarly works.
