Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis was first published in January 1992 and previously named UTILITAS. During this period, UTILITAS Journal did not use the Financial Services Authority. UTILITAS is not a suitable name for a management journal, but it is suitable for economics. Therefore, the name was changed to Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis in 2009. This journal was managed by the late Fajarwati. After she passed away, the manuscripts from 2009 to 2013, unfortunately, could not be uploaded to the Financial Services Authority.
Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis has published both printed (book) and electronic (PDF) versions. ISSN 2622-6308 (Online) and 2086-8200 (Print).
Since Volume 12 Number 1, March 2021: Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis grants the copyright to the authors.
Jurnal Manajemen Bisnis accredited Rank 2 from RISTEKDIKTI, Decree No.158/E/KPT/2021 valid from Vol 11 No. 2 (2020) until Vol 16 No. 1 (2025).
